(NYSE: J), where he previously served as Chief Executive Officer from August 2015 through January 2023. During his tenure as CEO, Steve led a significant transformation of Jacobs’ business portfolio, operations, and corporate culture. Under his leadership, the company delivered sustained profitable growth and increased market capitalization by more than $11 billion, representing a 244 percent increase.Steve brings more than 35 years of global executive leadership experience across a broad range of industries. His prior roles include President and Chief Executive Officer of Noveon Specialty Chemicals from 2001 to 2004, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aleris from 2004 to 2015.In addition to his role at Scythe, Steve serves on the Board of Directors of Jacobs Solutions, Arcosa, Inc., and FirstEnergy Corp. He also has longstanding involvement in professional sports ownership, having founded and served as majority owner of the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League from 2008 to 2017, and since 2017 has been a minority owner of the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League, affiliated with the Orlando Magic.
